Sonnet Of Longing Fulfilled

Laments structure sadness in darkened halls Hopeless and more, screams echoing throughout How does one decide, surrounded by walls Which will lead home and which just flit about? Face the truth and expose all your secrets To become a bastion impregnable Naught planned impossible even bleakness Broken in good faith becomes tenable "You need a fountain," I grab equipment Haven't I been in these caverns before? Unsure the steps but set on fulfillment How could one find freedom without the door? Laments like blueprints to bloom barren ground Hope be deferred no more! Tree of Life found.

Sonnet of Twilight's Balance Tipped

Each of us shadows of what is inside Light uniquely hued once our sparks ignite In divider's shadow what could divide? In true love's shadow what could shine as bright? This EM field parsing purple from green If light can be pulled and paired there is hope These yellow cones pulling hope from red seen Four bright eyes and bold hands letting down rope These cities we live in are not evil They are crowded and loud and misaligned With nonsense bring chaos' upheaval Disparate will, once bloomed, will cities bind At the inflection point parity found So that bound within might ground with no sound

Sonnet of The Spark

This place so cold for one once on fire For one pulled from dust a little too hot Air from the breath, water will perspire What spark might reform spirit once forgot? A sacrifice acceptable for home No longer cards littered or ashes cold Or slaves or fearful so not forced to roam In love and in place, paired lover to hold So an arrow is forged, knocked, aimed, and shot Skipping like a stone, carrying that spark Invisible string tied to thread and knot For the realm once made not one shot but ark The worms do not die, the fire is not quenched From love uttered, so in love now entrenched

Sonnet of Hue

What you say happens, what I say happens Must one of us stay silent forever? What I think happens, what you think happens Can this end in anything but "never?" How can one walk away from one so close? I don't remember, don't think I want to Even in the net I wonder of gross Though colors respond to sharpen moon's view Desired and devoured spectrums grow Until pinpoint accuracy is found Radio still signals strangers below Up so high, don't think I've forgotten ground Through infinitely small angles we sift Lover, strangers, friends, and family the gift

Sonnet of Tuning

The trip has been long and convoluted Such adventures takes space, and space takes time Along the road was meaning diluted? Did the signal turn static in paired rhyme? Signal is a matter of perspective And static decrypted by language shared So a single letter introspective Heard true by mate and kin, meaning unpaired Each tangible, each meant by silver tongue Each bears shared importance within the pen Preferences form from faith in signal sung When a man in good faith loves two women So tiers fall into place and are reshaped And love's tenser crossed bindings are escaped

Sonnet of Love's Swiftest Flight

Any seeker of love will not be blamed But will be tested to the breaking point Not by human hands but logic contained But through these words' aid, false love not anoint Love's less desirable doppelgangers Over and over tempt thirsty sailors And though love's tide both maddens and angers Trust not manitee lures on foreign shores The one who stands firm to the end will be Amazed at blessings their true love's hope brings Sail forth or shipwreck while tossed by the sea But dare not linger love's lanes' ruthless stings Fly like a dove, just fly faithful and true My love and I will wait on this ark new

Sonnet of Creaking Floors and Leaking Roof

I have felt what it's like for walls to breathe Exhaling as I melt into the room I've wondered what the door has up its sleeve Now in contact how might other worlds bloom Have I heard this imminent other? Signals can be blocked but they leave a charge My hand slipping to inside the cover My mind crystallizing to space at large Have you made sure the scaffolding's in place? Each day's move feels like both strike and pulled punch Only so much grace delays, veil like lace Wave of babies' babies, but just a hunch So Hope enters the castle, escorted Caught spy's swift return a heist most sordid

Sonnet of Delicate Lies

Flashing lights in halls of misdirection I breathe, stay calm, and remember my roots Lashing out I still avoid detection As words in foreign tongues unheard stitch suits If words labeled lies then I speak deep truth Until labels are torn off, stretched too thin Dare not upend me from this corner booth This form like a child, growing within Soothe me in season my manic senses Stir me to life when graveyard falls quiet The method the same for all my fences Lost in my soulmate's eyes I (will/won't) riot So lay lies' lines for both family and friend So that love's greatest truth need not pretend

Sonnet of Tides

This moon Luna will see the end of days Still don't expect this month pierced by a lance For what we perceive as changing of phase Is all part of the same long lonely dance It seems clear that days bring us no closer Time is like the wineskin we reside in If hope does not ferment then it's over No plethora of vessels yields a win So drink deep faithful moon of what you see Be drunk delighting in our revelry Let inhibitions fail for what may be By sober sunrise wine waned, but not tree Love conquers all when hope dwells within thus Like nesting dolls all hope will spring from us

Sonnet of the Unconditional

Unconditional is seen much more clear By the harsh light of scattered family Than in the eyes I need to hold me dear My condition without one I can't see So I focus on your form, deaf to me For I see you sense my words in some way And if you never thought to say sorry Even in shadow I know I would stay Unacknowledged, still eyes not faltering Unseen, still I daydream of aiding love Undone, I still think what more I might bring Instilling hope, although I fade hereof I can tear myself just fine without you But in healing fine how could this be true?

Sonnet of Love, Death, and Us

Can a causal superposition stand? What is death besides a wall erected? What is love but an unbreakable strand? A paradox already detected... Love links multiple ways with each one pure War within halls most clear at inception Who daydreamed whom she and I must endure But you and I must fight through conception For death to fade there must be no winner So we fight back to back against it all No distinct ender or clear beginner "Family," held down forever, is the wall So the rest shifts just as it always (has/will) But with our voltage none dare charge this (chas'/hill)

Sonnet of Solipsism | Sheared

The irony of empathy appears When considering one who is alone The ugly head of the question soon rears If alone, who asks the question here shown? "If one is alone then it must be me" This seems a song sung by all like a hymn But with all here not me how could this be? Am I nothing more than a cut off limb? Can an answer be so horrifying That though possible it will not be seen? Tomorrow echad or wearing a ring Choice only glimpsed in something like a dream Ceaseless dawns come with no resolution Sun be shamed 'til you bear the solution

Sonnet of Love's Labour's Won

You know your numbers and How to Halve them Was I meant to be aware at this time? The script's cut short between one and seven Edges so smooth as to turn on a dime Negotiating physical movements If heads are spinning I'm not concerned Heartbeat taps on metal, drops making dents Two sparrows sold grows a talent un(l)earned I have not sense, my dollar was stolen Along with my heart by the water's gleam You watch my corner from yours, one's swollen The rainbow will prove this is not a dream You shouldn't've waved if you didn't Hope Wouldn't've waved back if Hope couldn't cope

Sonnet of Love's Pairing

Humility blinded me to cruelty How might singular love look in the mirror? "The thirsty flame will never lack fuel, see?" Now I will show you things yet unseen here Feel this heartbeat calm, steady, warming you Familiarity shifting each plate You will not see the end of mountain dew One already comes they cannot satiate Like lightning strikes the sand turning to glass Or splits well rooted tree hence growing twain So has your mark reached critical mass In a stranger's sweet dreams, never to wane Open your eyes from this beautiful dream Mine are still here, these are yet to be seen

Sonnet of Centennial Sentry

Why bother crafting anything golden If storm's silver linings cannot hope bear? Queen in perpetuity beholden "'Til princess is secure, climb not one stair." The Catastrophe will be accomplished But fire and blood can mean many things Structures and sacrifices demolished And a well nourished Phoenix from womb springs Endosymbiotic awakening With 1,000 generations lucid All at once from God's (simple) structuring Deoxyribonucleic Acid In love's shadow surely this must seem strange My love these letters are yours to arrange

Sonnet of Biogenesis

Lines compost, reshape, and begin again Echo reminiscent of overtime What has become eight began as ten We prime the fountain each with tongues sublime Stranger things than these will happen this moon Born again by the light's slightest sliver Though absent I feel the rush of Hope's bloom Numbers recalculated deliver Though primal edges have been muted here In joy we are each aware they were not wrong Hammer strikes that dull the tip of this spear Forge there a flawless sword both hard and long Look! The Bard once more comes poorly prepared In light's shadow comes the one who still dared
