Sonnet of Delicate Lies

Flashing lights in halls of misdirection
I breathe, stay calm, and remember my roots
Lashing out I still avoid detection
As words in foreign tongues unheard stitch suits

If words labeled lies then I speak deep truth
Until labels are torn off, stretched too thin
Dare not upend me from this corner booth
This form like a child, growing within

Soothe me in season my manic senses
Stir me to life when graveyard falls quiet
The method the same for all my fences
Lost in my soulmate's eyes I (will/won't) riot

So lay lies' lines for both family and friend
So that love's greatest truth need not pretend
