Confession
When I was a child (~5-7?), I was at an arcade with my dad. We were on our last quarter, and he said that he wanted to play a round of Pac-Man. I had been playing a lot of the games, but when he said this, I felt an ugly feeling surface- greed. I looked at the first cabinet that I saw, which happened to be Bad Dudes, a game which I had never played. I said ~"But I've been really wanting to play this one!" as if it were my favorite game, so he let me play it. I died immediately and embarrassingly, while he watched. He clearly knew that I was lying. In my shame, however, I did not say so (in my ignorance, I did not register his knowledge until later), and this memory remains locked in mind to this day. I was just thinking today.
