Ode to Love

I flipped to a random page of The Bible and saw this verse: Luke 9:21 Jesus strictly warned them not to tell this to anyone. This verse caught my eye first, and is in reference to Jesus and his disciples discussing Jesus' identity- or more precisely role - in this narrative unfolding. In Luke 9:20 it is written "'But what about you?' he (Jesus) asked. 'Who do you say I am?' Peter answered, 'God's Messiah.'" There are only a few instances when Jesus tells others to hide his identity, or what God has done for them. In most such cases, he says that one should give thanks publicly and shout such things from the rooftops. I am seeing this now as clockwork mechanisms providing tension- while these many push, these few pull.   This illuminates the complexity of the ultimate clockwork of this narrative, with even contradictory responses and concepts being housed within the same framework (For how could they not, as society- with its many housed opinio...
