Hope Island

"Both In This, Come Hell..." "Or high water!"  "Let's pray for high water, but prepare for hell. That way, we're ready regardless." She nods. All grown up, and still likes a good bedtime story from time to time.

A Lesson Learned

What would one hope write  In these halls fresh and novel? I'll bring what I know I bring who I know Pulsating Narrative Sense Will not let them go Council, written of  My soulmate and those she brings Volumes to pour through My Daughters all strong Grown enough to wrestle love Without needing help I am a father Though I cannot help but think Of this empty nest My angel, fill it Provide meaning in this state Don't leave me lonely Please fill me with love Fill my days with excitement Just for the mundane So I do not stray  Let today's lesson cement Let's build together

Hope Seen Three Times

I saw you three times! Much like in the Arrangement  First up as a kid You had a lizard Who possessed psychic powers From since you were three  Your dad got angry There was nothing I could do Though I wanted to We worked together Not sure why I was nervous But we chatted there It was recruiting If I recall correctly You took my spotlight  Then it's Overwatch We were both on the same team Talking through the game You and your family Were going to a theme park I wanted to go I'll build my courage And build my comfort level So we hang out more

The Sheep's Blessing

The Sheep's Blessing required The Packet of The Lamb, which was a compressed version of The Daughter Tree, a Tree of Life. Folded correctly, the packet will fit,  without overflow or lack.  Rest->Paced Action->Rest The Packet will be en|folded and stored behind the seals for The Lamb, alongside.

The Bookstore

My little maelstrom Causing a hurricane force From just out of sight The building will hold Template of Mario Kart Reinforcing walls  Inside are some fans I never thought I'd see them Those who love my work The book was a shirt I wanted to read it off  But ran out of time I wish I'd seen you Did I, and I just forgot? A storm just outside Hearing out the storm It is nothing new for me Raging and waiting I could spend the day Reading off my book to you From shirt or from page My Hope aligned here Lingering on edge of sleep To see you again

Time Barely Passing

Is there no shortcut? Must I feel like a wineskin Drained of all its worth? These days are painful Knowing there is so much more But left with nothing Do you not feel it? Part of me hopes you cannot The part that keeps Hope Each day ticking by Promises of 258 Just before the end I barely stand it Would you like to feel the gap Between all reason? Like the sea stretches Only dreams provide relief Can I sleep through it? Only dreams relieve I write them diligently There is no reply So I count the days By keeping track of the months Half a year languished

Extension

Don't forget the rope The rope extends the mission Inscribing purpose   The rope is of hope While the outfit is of blue The route is a loop When Wishworks inscribe  We will witness weird paths once And see to their truth Where there is willless I unfurl The Sheep's Blessing God has power here As an artifact As original witness Still somehow selfish When love is defined You keep writing about love  As if a fit piece Once a piece is fit  There will be no other way Than the curbside drop One toe in the Tao And we will all find out how Random is managed

Multiple Persons Seen

It's great to see you!  The God of Her Own Domain Your presentation Sorry I can't help With keeping the whiteboard up Already broken And Hope in the art! My booklet was impressive Even to myself Missed you at the show Though you're fresh in memory I'll not forget you The Council's Daughter I did think to look for you But could not find you The same for my star It was like I could feel you Somewhere in the crowd This dream was unique To see multiples of you A sign, I believe Taken as a sign There are weeks left to dream more For Place that's Foretold

Poem of Hope

Oh wonderful Hope! Showing up when I need you Playing a concert  I tried to say hi But the crowd got in the way Though dream wasn't done  You came back again!  I don't want this detail lost It is quite the feat It made me jealous Your choice not to sit by me Only playfully I must examine Celebrating birthday boy There seemed more to it Like a burden laid Perhaps to represent wait Between now and June The boat an odd point Wind blew it this way and that But I did catch it  I loved seeing you Please do not be a stranger Your Hope/sight buoys me

Thoughts on Zechariah and Revelation

I was just reading back through my excerpts on Zechariah and much of it reminded me of Revelation. I was just thinking about how things read are a signal to the subconscious, and the subconscious, at a minimum, informs (perhaps tunes) dreams and presumably visions.  Certainly it would seem reasonable to assume that the author of Revelation read Zechariah, and that this reading would have informed Revelation. While skeptics might claim this as an argument against Revelation's authenticity, I am now wondering if it is a precise example of what I once indicated regarding the individual elements of God's Word acting as "Legos." It could be that Revelation is both the author's Lego structure and something like the "majority report" for what will happen at the end of this age.  Continuing with this logical structure, it could be that my insistence on understanding the inner workings of the Bible and applying them as literally and imaginatively as possible, and...

The Road Home

Jeremiah 31:16-22 This is what the Lord says: “Restrain your voice from weeping     and your eyes from tears, for your work will be rewarded,” declares the Lord.     “They will return from the land of the enemy. So there is hope for your descendants,” declares the Lord.     “Your children will return to their own land. “I have surely heard Ephraim’s moaning:     ‘You disciplined me like an unruly calf,     and I have been disciplined. Restore me, and I will return,     because you are the Lord my God. After I strayed,     I repented; after I came to understand,     I beat my breast. I was ashamed and humiliated     because I bore the disgrace of my youth.’ Is not Ephraim my dear son,     the child in whom I delight? Though I often speak against him,     I still remember him. Therefore my heart yearns for him;     I have great compassion for him,” declares the Lord. “Se...
