Sonnet of The Spark

This place so cold for one once on fire
For one pulled from dust a little too hot
Air from the breath, water will perspire
What spark might reform spirit once forgot?

A sacrifice acceptable for home
No longer cards littered or ashes cold
Or slaves or fearful so not forced to roam
In love and in place, paired lover to hold

So an arrow is forged, knocked, aimed, and shot
Skipping like a stone, carrying that spark
Invisible string tied to thread and knot
For the realm once made not one shot but ark

The worms do not die, the fire is not quenched
From love uttered, so in love now entrenched
