Sonnet of the Unconditional

Unconditional is seen much more clear
By the harsh light of scattered family
Than in the eyes I need to hold me dear
My condition without one I can't see

So I focus on your form, deaf to me
For I see you sense my words in some way
And if you never thought to say sorry
Even in shadow I know I would stay

Unacknowledged, still eyes not faltering
Unseen, still I daydream of aiding love
Undone, I still think what more I might bring
Instilling hope, although I fade hereof

I can tear myself just fine without you
But in healing fine how could this be true?
