New Year's Gap Filled

We stand astride years I'm already missing you This gap is absurd Not of few hours But of all these years apart Not knowing their end This uncertainty Turns time left into time spent That spent into weight Is it easier? What uncertainty have you As time and space warp? Still they celebrate Fireworks a reminder Of wishworks unsparked While the world burns Begrudge me not these pinings I'd miss you sleeping Side by side in bed Or if you went to the store These pines are kindling In ample supply What uses has wood besides Lighting a fire?

Sonnet of Shoreline

How many times have I been on this beach? Expert etching sandy surface belies Your skin on mine, ever closer in reach Cleans times without hellos and with goodbyes I know each of these places has its place Memory joy, tool, and trauma combined These shores are where we set aside the race A future glimpse of victory most kind Dream, story, song each crafted cobblestone Imagination, lies, they might be called From the outset set, the end to postpone Littered with prints for we've danced and we've crawled For now we just lay 'neath sun and by tide By my count heaven, with you by my side

Run The Red?

Here's looking at you Babe it all comes together So how about us? It could be smoother You know it will if you wait Sonnets to bring tears Certainly more fit Momentum building en masse Fibers stitching tight Timing more precise Everything tied with a bow A simple three count Tomorrow lacks though The charm of being today When vision runs red When thoughts rest on rings And how early spring cometh Like a hurricane Red and blue railings How everything lies between These purple and green And golden passion Throbs unabated within (Un->En)pillared altar

Sonnet of The Starry Night Prelude

So much marveled, yet so much more to come Feeling small and huge at once old and new Stars teem seen by the seed they will bloom from The night it becomes clear your view views you For my view is perfect, under these stars My view remains you, shining in mind's eye Struck by this masterpiece forever ours With you in my arms, what hope could hold sky? If candle is held it will be tonight By sea of stars or darkest skies contrast Could Christmas be known except by its light? When God proves beauty for all first to last? Starry night unspoiled by all that's heard For eep's pockets teem still with yet veiled word

Sonnet of Rings

Routes of paper and wheel circle like rings Like gaze on prismatic curls unchanging As corvid wings light a new season brings When your hand presses mine each amazing Often I have found myself at this stop Seeming alone amidst rain and flowers In spirit you stay, seed blooming a crop Thoughts bloom as well of you in these hours In full, not dream, like rain called in a snap Not unrequited tale, some lovestruck jest Though word and daydream refresh like a nap In your arms, eyes, heartbeat, sigh is my rest So I fight exhaustion and deja vu Fist clenched around rose stems, waiting for you

Sonnet of Paper

Words carefully arranged on fragile page The heart in your chest so exposed burns hot This structure familiar with flaming rage Could chains be reforged from no rope to knot? Written word remains by code or paper Spoken words written on hearts here below Even words thought blueprints for the caper Thread thoughtseeds to rings words with which to (sew/sow) So we return to a domain more shared Treasure and trinket by side and in hand Thoughts care(ful/less)ly spoken (finding/showing/proving/binding) us paired That we might agree to shape of the land These pieces once yours and mine now ours Dust and nothing shaped, blooming like flowers

Sonnet of Sparks and Eternal Flame

Fireworks in an extended display Though dazzling dazzle(s) less than your gaze For while those sparks light the end of this day My soul remains lit by your spark that stays Your touch makes secrets shared of the mundane By your hand the night illuminated Even dullness of years apart is gain Longing for you by sneaking in sated In this maelstrom of when you come and go A line in the sand sharpens in its place When you're here it is real when gone less so As such in fullness forms both time and space For in your eyes my dream is seen by day And by night my daydream shows she will stay

The Nazarite Trap

"Did you not learn the lesson of Samson, from the perspective of his and God's enemies?" With smug looks they all act like they don't care, and my words no longer carried weight, high fiving each other for their apparent final victory. "While tricked, he was complicit to a degree with his hair being cut, but even then his hair still grew. Finally he prayed to God for assistance and was answered, knocking down their entire arena with a final surge. Without even a hint of complicity, there is no validity to the cutting of hair. Their fate feels preferable to yours, for at least in such a physical rebuttal those outside the arena could mourn and bury the dead." Just like that they all saw my hair as white as snow in full length upon my head, and they turned equivalently ghost like.  "Now you could not even find a way to trick me into cutting it off, nor could I agree to do so in some strange twist of events." I stand from their trap and brush myself o...

Sonnet of Snow

Take my hand where I recall you in first Where these words fall and pile up like snow Unlike harming hail or rain to quench thirst Form precipitous to blanket below Foiled or wrapped it's what's inside that counts Whether hoax or heist I say a success Treasures of this kind in ample amounts Memories of your hand held without stress They pile indeed, much like the blanket Covering us both by cabin and couch Thought flood forms just right so as to bank it So purest white, all observers must vouch For while I describe fire in fireplace On winter wonderland they make their case

Sonnet of Perspective

You find yourself here as a tale I tell In a scooch most rapid- third, second, first May the clock's third hand mark second hand well Freedom from a life strictly seen at worst M'lady please allow me guide your steps I promise for but a little while Permission at this juncture so complex What I wouldn't do to see you smile You may expect I do less over more I will follow your lead only now gleaned Though I cannot ask to make us a door Still I promise once done path will be cleaned May structure stay sound, even when I leave That you have true choice to be this man's Eve

A Vision of My Bride

Bottom of the stairs The piano still playing By another's hand You are a vision Perfect wedding attire From the landing seen I walk down the stairs But not in storybook steps Realm crafted and true My prayed for bride waits What am I still doing here? How are paths made straight? A vision won't do Excepting as turn of phrase I want you in full As myself in full No last call substitutions No single piece lost I feel the structure Shaping here and there at once Permanent accord Forever framework Fundamentally mated A marvelous ring

Definition Of "A Sign"- and A Sign Seen Clearly

In the most amazingly nonsensical of ways (🐸👽🐺) I feel like the concept of a sign finally makes sense to me. It is proof by one's own standards that something must be real, and proof that is at odds with what the world would claim is possible. While my own definition of proof is quite rigorous it is also personal, allows for quite a bit of nonsense, and is quite precise. The sign that I saw today required not only those that I have felt are on my team to act, but many many others. I realized that this could only be accomplished in 2 ways: 1. Many many others are on the team I am on without my knowledge of them, looking to indicate that this structure I have seen is real. For the logic of this reality to remain intact in this scenario, this would actually require tangled timelines, with many others having run their course already and returning here and now to contribute to the sign in secret. In this case what I have seen is the shadow of a sign, but still proof that the sign exi...

The System of Illusionary Choice

How many illusionary/meaningless 'choices' must one be presented with before one's mind feels satisfied, as if one had been presented with a real choice? If your answer does not exceed the system"s ability to provide said illusionary choices in a given timeframe, you will remained chained by the system for that timeframe.

Two^(Two)^Step^(by)^Step Beat

Begin with heartbreak Miss/ed Americana New Joker prince disguised Trouble. From the start. Darkness tinting deepest green What hope has love here? 15 bells are heard That 11 might be called Ahava the word ¤ Naught (an illusion/non-existent) Nothing (is well fortified/second pass removed) Zero (is/not) deserved ¤ The wise men gather Turned when the first light turns green Scoreboard reversal Ahava the word That eleven might be called Fifteen bells are heard The rest a story Only folklore evermore First told, twice shifted The highway don't care This all began with one name Hope. (and one away)(then multiplied)

Echoing Step by Step

I long to (see/hear/smell/taste/feel/know) you My hope(s) overflow(s) that I'm Not the only one I'd dance in a storm To the garden to see you Middle of the night You learn my secrets And lead me up the staircase Sparks flew instantly And the armor falls Forget about the deadlines I'll be loving you No one has to know Make the moves up as I go I wish you knew that No one has to know It's like your body is gold Ice, sunset, and vine Always be this close Help me hold onto you I've Waited my whole life Just like a folk song The greatest loves of all time Here in your doorway

Genesis- The Opposition of The Serpent

I was just speaking with a friend along the lines that I often seek to interact, discussing faith. Naturally as two who have examined our own faith in detail we encountered areas where there is disagreement. This conversation and process made me realize something about Genesis 3 specifically. Genesis 3:5 (The serpent) “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” Genesis 3:22 (The Lord God) And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil..." These two verses, spoken from perspectives that are broadly considered opposing, seem strikingly similar. That being said, many Christians I have spoken with remember Genesis 3:5 where the serpent speaks, and remember the serpent as a liar, and so remember this idea of becoming like God as a lie. Because of this belief formed in opposition to the serpent, it is often as if the words of The Lord God in Genesis 3:22 are disbelieved or exp...

A New Name

Mark 2:17 Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” Revelation 3:12 The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name. When there are no more sick, what is a doctor to do? When one's name is one's profession, what will Yeshua (Jesus/Salvation) next be called? 🤔

The Torn Coat

Like a mustard seed Looming so large over ours To eclipse the sun When the seed coat tears Pink roseis first to appear Hope leading the way The halls are the roots Our eyes locked the DNA The bloom in our cheeks What sprouts through the earth With heaven so abundant That treasures spill forth? What did you picture When imagining the tree And tending its growth? Taking hold in time Cherished joy of hearts and minds Superlatively The twigs grow tender With leaves to heal the nations But what of the fruit? Do you bend ear that You might hear/taste wonders by Even your standards?

Dream of a recrafted piece of eight

Like in days of yore A poem forms around dream When the main scenes fade Interestingly With a word everything fades Except this approach My eyes fix on yours I approach you in weakness In fragility One blow could end me In any number of ways You do not take those So I eat in peace And ask if you're enjoying This meal prepared Reminded of chains Crafted along different lines In essence secure If you will not strike And your will overwhelms here What is my weakness? Is this maddening? Is this infuriating? August's rage fills you

⚖️Step By Step⚖️ Through The Red To White-

So we add one thing Reality incomplete I've called out your name "I called you by name" Fearless in my stride Cutting through chains like paper Blessings multiply "Blessings multiply" Compass needle spins Directions became folklore  So I watch my feet "the string and rope hold" Cut through like a knife Now your voice ever more heard(known) Through the howling wind "it is time to go/we stayed" This ear heard the call "Speak now to clearly divide Your love from the lies" (cleaved reputation) The details muddled Your birth year and day anchored All else on the line. "The Archer(s) take(s) aim." Let them keep rumor Reputation full of lies My sights are on you "Born past the white line" My lover and prize Of knowing these treasures are Your version of things "Long live the divide!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The voice of a brother echoes from elsewhere. "Look back to see your bride, running the back 40...

Even

Now you fill my mind Messages coded and plain In fields of signals Yours is singular... It enlivens me to think: Now you could call me. Between these workdays Almost another year up But not passed alone Ending with a bang For the weekend would not fail To bring you to me One wish of many Though all with similar theme Spoken with forked tongue Did they think to write? Did they try too hard to copy Easy jaunt in halls I lay in foyer Forcing rhymes in other tongues Style still my own I dream of your call To signal ➰the (dreaming/story) through ➿ The best just begun

Authority and Agreement- An Analogy

For sake of simplifying, and hopefully clarifying, the logic of authority and agreement: Let's say we are playing a game. In this game we all have coins, and as long as we agree to terms for which they can change hands, they can change hands. So if we agree on a bet, then the result of the bet will result in the previously agreed upon payment of coins accordingly. If we agree that I will give you a coin for generosity's sake, or I give you one today and you give me two tomorrow, then that is what happens. Without agreement the coins do not change hands. This would represent reality by agreement, as far as the individuals and the coins and the terms that they might set between them are concerned. Now let's say instead everything is the same but at any time I can require you to agree with something. While from a perspective one might still say that this is technically a reality by agreement, more fundamentally it is a reality by authority. Nothing is stopping me, except for m...

Silence in eep

"I have come to find that sharing the same wrong opinion with a billion people doesn't make it right, and a billion people telling you your idea is wrong doesn't mean it's not right." I see them open their mouth to interrupt, but I hold my hand up, here in possession of an actual at-will superpower to silence the noise produced by those with nothing meaningful to say. "And yes, I would say a lot of people have some very popular opinions on that statement as well."  I can feel the frustration building as if to a rage, but I too remain silent, letting them understand their situation with all the patience necessary, until finally my words start to sink in. Only then, in what would be silence anyway, do I continue. "This power only cancels noise by the way, it is a filter that will let through anything meaningful one has to add to the structure, or any honest question, each as determined by the power's source, The Holy Spirit, not I. The goal isn...

Language and The Word in Reality By Agreement

Language is another construct that gives off the appearance of direct consciousness communication, but in reality is always a translation: our thoughts are transmuted into these legos like structures of words, and then the lego structure is handed to the other person's consciousness for them to deconstruct and make sense of. Even when two people speak English, for example, this process must occur, so miscommunications occur with frequency even among those who are each speaking their "first language." This makes the Gift of The Holy Spirit of "speaking the same language" that much more interesting, because in that case despite speaking one's "first language," each person that heard someone speaking heard it on their own "first language." I am curious if this would suggest that this translation process from thought to word to thought was removed; in these cases is there a way to confirm that two consciousnesses are interfacing with each oth...

Where Consciousness and Reality Actually Meet

Can one imagine themselves doing something? This may sound obvious and a bit like a stupid question, but what I mean is, if one is imagining, then can one also be the thing imagined? I tend to picture/remember things in 3rd person, so this effect is easier I think for me to examine than if I was always acting in imagination (or memory for that matter) from a first person perspective, but if I am the one imagining, and I see myself performing an action within the imagined place, would that not then be an image of myself performing the action imagined at my command? Dreams often feel tangibly different than memory or imagination for me. Like even in those dreams where I feel dissociated from my body, it still feels like I am the one acting, firsthand, much as it does in this waking realm. Once more though, in cases where I am able to imagine in dreams, it is an image of myself I am imagining acting. Also, when I remember dreams it is usually in third person, so I would say personally the...

Jesus and The Father- Of Frequencies Divided and Agreements Reached

I woke up this morning and soon after an odd thought popped into my head. "What if Jesus was speaking of God and The Father separately?" Even I will admit this was a strange thought that flies in the face of my beliefs. In this interpretation Jesus would be the Son of God, God being his Mother in this case, and The Father would be separate, God's soulmate, I would presume. I must admit such a thought was overwhelming as many such challenges that come to mind in this way are (the last one in this category being "The Bible, your sourcebook, says 'you are gods' and I repeated it, so what are you the god of?"). Reading through some of the things Jesus said of The Father, if this were the case it would be a very very fine line drawn, with many coupled statements being used with God and The Father side by side, and the only statement really missing to disprove this idea being Jesus saying "God is The Father" or "The Father is God." (Which I...

Both Treasure and Treasure Hunter

It's funny, I recently quoted the parable of the treasure and the field, as well as the merchant and the pearl. The wording of these two parables always struck me as odd, because while on the surface they sound like pretty much the same story repeated, and perhaps are often interpreted as such, the analogy is a step different in each. Matthew 13:44 "The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field" Matthew 13:45 "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls." First: treasure Second: treasure hunter This juxtaposition of analogies has sparked a whole new line of thinking for me, one that pairs analogies in a way that makes the focused on subject both actor and object. I have been seeing this in so many things since then that I thought I would share, as especially this idea of the kingdom of heaven (not those in it, but the kingdom itself) actively seeking us feels overlooked. Frankly I did not know what to make of it for the lon...

Cards On The Table

An unlikely pair In the wake of destruction In a dream misread Placed into the box For only you to pick from For just you to see One you have retained (Or these are my assumptions) The other you need Did I act cruelly? Or did you shapeshift so I Might crumple your chains? Seeing imbalance I might not break otherwise If I saw your eyes? Regardless they're yours On the table, as you please Do with them today My heart in pieces Evenly torn to this day Still, my love is yours Blessed non-compulsion Is it only in trying You could know for sure?

The Shape of Things To Come- Agreeing With Jesus

I have been thinking quite a bit about reality by agreement developing from reality by authority and it made me realize something: The shape of reality for the next age must be put forth by someone other than Jesus.  Consider that if Jesus puts forth both the direct idea that reality is shaped by agreement, and then in full knowledge of the plan clearly describes the shape of reality, those who follow Jesus and understand he speaks for The Father, and worship The Father, would feel compelled to agree with this shape. Feeling compelled to agree with something is not agreement in its purest sense, but rather an expression of the authority of the other. So, while Jesus could simply tell us what is happening next and it would occur immediately upon being agreed to, the realm would be that of authority in the same way this one is, possibly just to a less direct degree.  It feels like this is the exact reason why so much time has passed since Jesus returned to The Father: mankind ne...

Loosly Applicable

I pour over you In any way you allow And I can muster Every holiday But especially Christmas Intertwining fates Interposing hands Have held me back but no more If chains are a cheat The warning levied Contend correctly or be Trampled in the field The ox unmuzzled The bull given a clear path The man approaches Running like children Roadblocks shifting like water Beneath our bare feet Like the air we breathe Enters the lungs when inhaled Without second(single) thought So will their schemes be Atoms arranged within stone Built into our home

Without Jesus Nothing Was Made

John 1:3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. I was considering this in terms of "the game of the god of nothing," and it feels like another (quite significant) verse that likely struck a chord within my subconscious, leading me to consider this point of the establishment of nothing before I consciously grasped its significance. The verse is assumed to be speaking of Jesus, and the interpretation I will lay out here requires no variance from that- for clarity I will replace "he/him" with "Jesus" and I will add emphasis with italics.  Through Jesus all things were made Without Jesus nothing was made For this last section, if one shifts "that" to "nothing" (although in the traditional interpretation "that" presumably means all things in Creation), the last line becomes one indicating success: Nothing has been made. If read in this context it is a story of great success in terms of th...

A Whole New World

A whole new world Standing astride the shoreline Like a dream angel But like something real Amphibious between realms Until each aligned Did you take two steps? Declaring the end in stride (Out of/Into) land or sea? Hearing me call out Sensing me over salt air Eyes turn and you see For I followed you Though I kept losing my breath Your loss worse than death For me, singular This blue skyed realm much the same Today as days past What holds the future? With a pair of paths distinct Now stacked in the deck? Side by side we walk On ground so familiar yet A whole new world
