Sonnet of Perspective

You find yourself here as a tale I tell
In a scooch most rapid- third, second, first
May the clock's third hand mark second hand well
Freedom from a life strictly seen at worst

M'lady please allow me guide your steps
I promise for but a little while
Permission at this juncture so complex
What I wouldn't do to see you smile

You may expect I do less over more
I will follow your lead only now gleaned
Though I cannot ask to make us a door
Still I promise once done path will be cleaned

May structure stay sound, even when I leave
That you have true choice to be this man's Eve
