A Whole New World

A whole new world
Standing astride the shoreline
Like a dream angel

But like something real
Amphibious between realms
Until each aligned

Did you take two steps?
Declaring the end in stride
(Out of/Into) land or sea?

Hearing me call out
Sensing me over salt air
Eyes turn and you see

For I followed you
Though I kept losing my breath
Your loss worse than death

For me, singular
This blue skyed realm much the same
Today as days past

What holds the future?
With a pair of paths distinct
Now stacked in the deck?

Side by side we walk
On ground so familiar yet
A whole new world

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
