Confession
When I was a child (~5-7?), I was at an arcade with my dad. We were on our last quarter, and he said that he wanted to play a round of Pac-Man. I had been playing a lot of the games, but when he said this, I felt an ugly feeling surface- greed. I looked at the first cabinet that I saw, which happened to be Bad Dudes, a game which I had never played. I said ~"But I've been really wanting to play this one!" as if it were my favorite game, so he let me play it. I died immediately and embarrassingly, while he watched. He clearly knew that I was lying. In my shame, however, I did not say so (in my ignorance, I did not register his knowledge until later), and this memory remains locked in mind to this day.
I was just thinking today. What are the odds that this quarter is that quarter, which I have also deemed to be "The Coin of Random," an artifact of such weight that I cannot conceive of it leaving its home realm, or it would not be said artifact; its motions must be entirely uninfluenced (intentionally) for this to be a fair question, but there's zero reason to assume that these factors have been intentionally influenced, or even could be influenced outside of God. I don't even know which quarter it was, but God could have easily kept track, and anyone with sufficient photo analysis technology and memory access could say definitively if these quarters are the same or different. There is certainly a non-zero chance of this being the case, so my questions are (the second strictly to those with such access):
What are the odds that it is the same quarter?
