Interesting Repetition- Water Works

I got a new water filter recently and it worked great for at least a few days. Soon after getting it though the water started tasting bitter, like a sharp bitter metallic citrus. It was strange because I remember this happening the last time I got a new filter, it may have even happened the time before as well; I may have even remembered this effect in advance of it happening this time, but of that I am not sure. That taste makes the water nearly undrinkable for me, and I recalled that the only solution was to filter and drain the tank several times (so I did that while watching Picard). The water was fine again for a few days and then suddenly it smelled like fish, like tuna. As soon as I smelled the fish it felt familiar again, I immediately remembered this follow up effect at least from the last filter (like as I was smelling it), possibly from the time before as well again. Disentropic

So, someone else's presence, from one's own perspective, is a combination of signals in the brain. The sight of them, the sound, the feel, everything, from one's own perspective regarding the other that they perceive, is ultimately these brainwaves, in a familiar pattern. This intertwines with the the idea that consciousness is these brainwaves, our bodies carefully constructed compilations of sensors and machines designed to generate these waves and in turn be driven by them. I can imagine, and even have seen firsthand one night, hallucinations so vivid that they are indistinguishable from real people. Granted, personally I did not touch these others, but they were visible and plain as day.
