Fairness and Finality

The Prince arrives through his designated gate.

"They have insulted you for the last time. When you said 'No one knows what happens when someone like me dies.' and they replied 'We'll risk it.' they doomed themselves to hell. Even I could not stop the fury of the crowd, though I was of no mind to do so."

The accused cry out from the gates of hell "That's not fair! We had no idea how important you were. If The Prince had only revealed you, we would have exalted you."

I surge to 50 times my size, wings unfurling and teeth bared, knocking several of them into hell in the process.

"The Prince does not owe you anything. What you did to the least of these you did to me. You lot just managed to do these things to me directly, in ignorance. Even with all the prophets and Jesus himself you managed to sow wicked seeds until the weeds choked you out. We must throw you into the fire so that your Wickedness does not spread; all your repeated actions and final words have managed to do is eliminate all guilt associated with doing so."

With a wing sweep that passes through each, they succumb to Insanity. In this state, they all rush headlong into hell, of their own accord, likely believing that anything to be better than their new state. As a burst of fireworks, they are no more.

I cannot hide my viciously mocking snarl "They were right. It wasn't fair to keep them around this long. Never again. No more."

With that, I return to my comfortable size, and our city return to normal operations.

"I'll handle any similar issues, should they arise." The Prince says, just before he goes back to hanging out with his friends.
