The High Seas: A New Horizon

An eerie fog of dark green covers these waters. While drawn here, the actual emergence onto the stage of this ship deck was sudden, surprising even. Still, I do not rock the boat, but instead stare straight ahead, allowing my host a minute or two to acclimate. Like a dream the narrative fills in...

"Ah, so the false god of Eve's realm tried to do exactly what I predicted then?"

"To the letter. False paradise presented and promised, as long as she could secure you, with a hand hovering over the panic switch to hell the whole time."

"I would have left as well. And are we concerned about the realm attempting a hack or other form of counterattack?"

"I don't know why you ask that of these places. If anyone tried it I don't think we'd ever even find out. It is certain that they would discover the definition of 'alien technology' in that moment, however, as no species has the slightest idea how you contain what you do. Basically things like pages of text and even objects in the room start taking on lives of their own, figuratively speaking. What isn't figurative, however, is how unlikely it is that we'd ever find out. Our tech to overwrite corrupted souls with their 'Child of God version' is already in place, and our background noise cancelation is at maximum, meaning that we'd need to manually go back and search to see if this had occurred."

"Which I don't see us doing except in Numbers 30 instances."

"Correct. How much different are these seas than before though, with countless souls, good and evil, yet to make their mark on our voyage? The only difference is that node by node, beneath the waves from our perspective, wicked changes to good."

"If one must do something, one could do much worse."
