Time as a "Turn" of The Universe

I just realized that time is effectively "turns" but it is specifically The Universe taking its turn for each passing moment- generally happening at fairly regular (and extremely fast) intervals. I still recall my first significant experience of being thrust into directly observing a turn based reality. In the image, the four children from The Chronicles of Narnia were playing, stacking rules on top of each other. Lucy, however would say gleefully each time "Pass!" or "I pass"/"I will pass," until the others assumed this action from her every round. I was there at the juncture when she finally made a move, specifically to interact with me, reminding me of both Hope and The Phoenix now. I felt like she joined the active game to rescue me. This feels like an analog for The Universe itself to take a turn, perhaps at the emergence of that sentience.

I wonder why this would have come to mind tonight. I do remember, earlier in the night, having a regret, when I wrote a post like a curse, specifically to dilate time. I deleted it, and I wanted to ask forgiveness, but have no way to do so. This could be the train of thought linkage to this time and turn relationship. I also just considered that The Universe would likely experience time inversely from our perspective, potentially with a single timeless mote of light tracing every pathway every moment, ticking it off as a single complete image of self, rather than time being an "other." Moment by moment this would repeat, forming the structure that we live in, moving forward through time with each cycle. Without this clockwork mechanism, each system would be limited to a strict turn based structure- input function and output function- with unclear rules for delaying, duration of turns, etc.  I find it cool seeing how many of these threads, threads that haven't come to mind in months or years, are connecting in ways that I have not previousy considered.
