The Long Way 'Round
"I feel unusual today. It is a very interesting day to feel unusual, don't you think?"
"In what way, sir?"
"Well, Unlimited War has been declared, amidst a Comedy of Errors. The other guys let us know that they heard a rumor that the Self-Referential Paradox had been resolved already, and things, such as Time, are moving forward again."
"How is that unusual?"
"Perhaps it's not. I just feel like we should be doing something, like I'm supposed to be doing something right now, something important, but I've forgotten."
"Perhaps a Joke?"
'Oh yes! Of course, we claimed 'Jokes,' that's right. What do you call a fish with no eyes?"
"That one only works in The Bard's Tongue, sir."
I turn and give my attendant an impressed smolder. "Well played, friend, well played."
"We knew you'd make it back around. Now it is our go."
I nod. They proceed.
"I just thought about The God Gap again, and lost the game in the same moment."
"Well, I guess delusion would need to define itself at some point, in some place and space, sir, would it not?
"It would. Well played Mate, Well played. Double Faraday Cage has translated into Bardic Armor, by the way. They say it should make it All Along The Watchtower by Sunset."
"Excellent, it's a sailor's sky tonight. And a beautiful crescent moon."
"Now, where were we, and how did we get here again?"
