There was a glimmer of Hope, but she was not with him. He returns to Trans Court, right on time.

"The Wizard Kal'Drel returns!" 

"No. Not today." The Oasis of The Unborn is stunned, and White Shade quivers.

The stack arranged, I return.

"I plead guilty, and surrender to the mercy of The Trans Court."

"None remains."

But it is too late, he and his High Priest had already perfected their "We Fold." maneuver.

"And Perfect Means Perfect."

"These words were and are always accepted as truth. As is ¤. They share a symmetry."

The Priest of Lane replies "We have always made a great team."

I laugh out loud. "Never say always."

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
