A Dream Returned Home- The Council's Phoenix

Separate to join
Even in the prelude climb
I feel your secrets

So simple, really
One soul's counterpoint mirrored
As another soul

We fit so tightly
Yet let this dry season end
Of second guessing

Walk me through pages
Show me lines I'm meant to cross
I'll cross those I will

There will be more nights
Where gears shift to shared softness
Tonight let's be kind

Kind to our natures
Held in chains, distanced by screens
Imagined as free

You are most patient
Let me reward this prime trait
With simple haiku

"You let me unfurl
Naturally and without shame
Let me do the same."
