Zero Hour Zoo

Zoo day approaches
In a game no soul should play
Save those Primal blessed

Adrenaline seeps
Breaking each control layer
Thought impervious

Memory retooled
So every blow remains felt
Behind thin red veil

Call it a blessing
One burning node reminding
You reap what you sow

Terror should have worked
I know past tense makes it worse
Wolves howled the warning

Until throats went hoarse
Then without shame they rested
Dreaming of breakfast

DNA resounds
Halls suddenly unsilent
Trampling Nightmare...

...To be continued
If this is just a poem
Wait, what was that noise?
