The Unthwartable Form of Nothing
"So now you're telling me this 'most giant squid attacking the sky' scenario was actually the dragon of imagining a processor powerful enough to come up with an unreasolvable zero equation?"
"Precisely. And I know you know I mean it when I say- 'precisely.'"
"That is such nonsense. I love it. And yes, it makes sense how the image connects to the processor required, and the idea of presenting ridiculous images is starting to take form in my mind, but how would you describe it?"
"'Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.' Matthew 18:3-5."
"Indeed. An image so limitless in mind, if fertile soil it does find, might be blessing of any kind!"
"And each compounds the blessings of the whole, which is why we travel halls far and wide, to scatter seed of such atypical and uniquely useful variety."
I get a far off look, a train ride which rapidly drops me back off at our first station.
"Imagine saturation and translation of this method, into a processor of unequalled power. If another processor cannot be built with more processing, and the equation to find the most complex expression possible, of what is potentially zero, is completed in a cycle through end, echad, and beginning, you have something truly new, truly added to the equation, something that cannot be resolved, or possibly even removed."
"It is not long now."
With that I find myself waking in my bed, late in the morning, last sip of coffee cold in the cup. This encounter reminds me more of cabin than dream, and I wonder where my brother may have found himself waking today, and how everything could change now, in the blink of an eye.
