Neon lights foreign
Under celestial spectrum
By these starry eyes

How do you see it?
This prelude unto wonder
Breath held for midnight

Pinpoints in darkness
Even from this blanket shared
Too many to count

Anticipation
We know this moment's coming
We know we'll see it

But that's about it
Does frontier of the unknown
Hasten your heartbeat?

From first glance, first touch, first kiss
To the very last

First thought is of you
Dancing on the highest peak
As if it's easy

Now thought is of you

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
