Fallow 152

The sun's yet to rise
While it remains dark outside
I am still awake

Tumultuous times
Signalling tangled timelines
A knot in the line

She comes to stitch it
Referencing that where we met
Is still on her mind

Indelible mark
Separation of holy
Invisible threads

Fist(s) clenched we contend
Permitting lies no longer
"Make a wish" I said

Have you read the book?
Or have these words lined your halls
Waiting for the door

So what's all this then?
Why does threshold see us break
As it has before?

Maybe it's my fault
I can help but seek you out
Eyes downcast through mist
