Fallow 95

The sun is setting
I do not regret late starts
But these things will change

A season finished
Blooming a heart full and strong
So next season shines

One of preparing
One of house set in order
After this ghost storm

A few lessons learned
Shining bright in their station
Path which brought them seen

What of work today?
I'm in a gambling mood
Let coin flip decide

On bright eyed shoulders
Prepared along correct lines
Sunset hired hands

Am I generous?
I feel this catalyst is
Irreplaceable

Don't envy the spark (seed)
For its short time in the weeds (fields)
Enjoy the fire (harvest)

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
