The sun is shining
I woke up with energy
Forgot how that feels

The surge of vigor
After only two days won
Each check box complete

God bless these workouts
Bolstering my endurance
As you've done so far

Work is going well
With an easy first day back
Time moving swiftly

Dinner with friend found
"Embarrassment of riches"
Spoken in context

For these favorite dreams
Have come with such frequency
One slipped through the cracks

Mind on the crossroads
Same sleight of hand repeated
Without same result

If these things will work
Could this lesson convey that
Without pace flagging?

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
