Sonnet of Obscured Reflection
My wandering nightlight, how do you hide?
I speak not of mysteries long since solved
But how perfect orbits and size provide
Insight to the heavens so swift evolved
It is as if God said "let there be light
But let us give it a little pizzazz."
Stars and moon in season sparkle the night
So we wonder at the treasures it has
Sun life giving engine most luminous
Moon dimmer but in some ways greater shine
Like a gateway to hope voluminous
Darkness revealing Architect's design
So on this night they dance at a distance
That this man betwixt ponders existence
