Remainder of Balance Scales

Booped right on the nose
Can you blame me if the fun
Is where my mind rests?

I can hear the rest
No ghost wind can drown it out
Though sometimes tides ebb

Would you claim folly
If I become a savant
At making you laugh

At brightening days
At overwhelming with love
In warm cozy ways?

Sight has broadened though
We all have our preferences
(And) Mine is your smile

Your laugh and your blush
Overflowing cup of joy
This eternal love

Other states will come
Let them be brief and fleeting
But rife with meaning

So we can both stay
End secured before the start
Amen to Amen
