A Firm Foundation

A most  tidy win
Penned on  a soft twirly  note
"Edification"

Are sights I have inked
The adventures you have seen
Spied from a distance?

Setting this new stage
A hopeful intertwining
Gently unthreaded

Step by step we plan
Never for hell to be cruel
Beyond what's needed

Rethreaded pockets
Flame in the soul replacing
Fire on the skin

Do not get us wrong
It will still burn down a house
But will build a home

Built on holy ground
With a fireplace and door
And plenty of room

Template for forging
Overabundant blueprints
Crafted perfection

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
