Tulip

Broadening bouquet
Unexpectedly rooted
Divergent Lily 

Anemoia brass
Sepia and glitter bronze
Yellow and golden

These daydream visions
Either perfectly precise
Or well studied for

For I flew to Hope
Expecting rose and lilies
But found a tulip

A tulip found me
A spotlit humility
Sunlit crimson blush

While I pine away
Flowers still exist at night
Waiting for the sun

Do they watch the moon?
Glad for any reflection
While the wheel turns?

With a word(glance), rules set
New like floral arrangements
Blessing the garden

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
