Aurora Borealis- Camping

How long have we pushed?
Let us find rest in this day
And dream a future

As times scooch closer
And hues burst forth overhead
By no human hand

Lake and the moonlight
Catalyzed pair in the tent
Laughing over cards

Sure the storm rages
In a way it always will
But [never] like this

For the edges curve
This flood will mean lessons learned
Cherished scars preserved

Rest for the weary
Whose so(u)l(e)s have not been run through
Though reaching the end

For though time insists
And odds declare certainty
In wisdom we wait

To silence awake
Their last pair of tricks sidestepped
Then we'll continue
