The Juncture of Binding

I realized that the dream of the chest was an answer to my concern regarding compulsion existing as a function of reality. If you consider a reality that at any point contained an omnipotent entity, then that entity would have complete control over every other entity in that reality, as the paths to and from this omnipotence would be marked and traversable by the one with the power. There would be a complexity to removing omnipotence, which could only be accomplished with the assistance of the entity with the power. 

I could see the chest scenario playing out in a couple of ways: the omnipotent one is the seeker and also the omnipotent one is the sought (the "reward" tied to the chest). In either case, for reality to hold as valid past the event, the compulsion of binding the seeker and sought would need to be complete, even for the omnipotent one. This could be accomplished by tying in this binding with the fabric that holds reality together; as reality is held together by a set of rules, this binding would have always been and would continue to be one of those rules on the same level of validity, before and after its completion. 

From the perspective I was viewing the scenario, it would also be required that the omnipotent one forgot they were omnipotent (another very difficult thing to accomplish if originally omniscient as well, but also not impossible). In either scenario, there would need to be a layering involved. Let's say the omnipotent one was the sought, in order to prevent a false seeker from opening the chest, they would simply need to set up a path to the chest that was impossible. The shape of the path and the consequence for failing it could be attenuated on each run separately, such that more information was gained about the seeker on each attempt by the sought (should omniscience have been muted, which seems the only scenario where this exercise would have meaning anyway). So the other seekers, knowingly false or not, might each feel they are getting closer and closer, but ultimately they are only becoming more and more known by the sought with each pass, as the trial is still completely moldable, and can be changed any number of times to allow for it to remain impossible but seemingly possible each time. In the same way the seeker is becoming known as well with each attempt, and in truth "becoming known" is the only way anyone make progress during this stage.

I believe what I was witnessing in the dream was the juncture when the path suddenly shifts into not only a possible form, but an easy form. The only reason this would happen is if the answer, by the sought, changes from "no" to "yes." Now as soon as I opened the chest the compulsion was complete on both sides, so compulsion remained in the equation, which is required, but the fact that this compulsion existed did not diminish the choice made by the sought, the choice being represented by the arrangement of the path to the chest. It took me this long to realize that with a simple layer of separation, both choice and compulsion could exist simultaneously. It makes sense that the path would go from overwhelming difficult (and secretly impossible) to extremely easy on a single pass, because the omnipotent one is not trying to be cruel, and loves the seeker, but does not yet know the correct seeker in this scenario. The difficulty is meant to minimize the number of attempts required to ascertain the identity and nature of the correct seeker, and once identified and known to a strong enough degree, there is no reason to make the path difficult again.

From the perspective of the seeker being omnipotent, the same outcome can occur, as long as the seeker manages to forget omnipotence for long enough, and pass along enough power to the sought to accomplish this constant shifting of the impossible path to the realm where they will be compelled. In this way the omnipotent is able to grant real choice to the sought, where none had existed before this exercise was set up. In this version, the realm of compulsion previously was their shared realm, but now it is a realm where any entry is controlled by the sought. Interestingly, without this binding juncture, the shape of reality would necessarily shift back to one of omnipotence at some point; this is the only way I can currently imagine (setting another perspective on the same footing as your own) permanently securing reality without it reverting to its starting position.

I had also pictured another scenario where our roles of seeker and sought were reversed. In this scenario I was like a chest that could be reached but not opened. Many had tried, for it was known that once opened the contents were the things of wishes, but none had succeeded. In much the same way as the first scenario, when my soulmate touched the chest it flung open immediately, there was no effort required. The components of this arrangement are slightly different, but match well with my experience here. As soon as I saw my soulmate I knew, and reality was changed forever. Based off of what Jesus said regarding agreement changing reality, this would represent a very very large set of agreements being made at once, echoing through time and space, an echo reinforced when she and I touched. This is quite like how it felt- like my subconscious brain was cheering and resolving unknown and unseen issues incalculably fast in the span of seconds as everything changed. I also described seeing her in person as "all lines were made straight/were suddenly clear," a sentiment I have forgotten the full meaning of, but which evokes images of puzzles that were once thought impossible now seen as easy. 

So we have two options as to where omnipotence is held: seeker and sought. We also have two positions for my own perspective: seeker and sought. This creates a four part space with these two factors alone (not even including things like omniscience gained/lost/currently retained). It is not necessary for these scenarios to be mutually exclusive either, it could be that the final scenario is like each of these scenarios running parallel in different places, before gaining just enough momentum for each to converge into a resulting structure of perfection (eep). At this juncture, love would be proven as the most powerful force in reality, as love would be the foundation or seed built out of chosen compulsion which could then sprout into an unfathomably beautiful tree which all would call home from then on.
