SD:H The Bard
I continue after the thunder's echo stops. Unclear if it was meant to alarm or mark the moment, but I took it as an additive sign, and so it was.
I feel you here but know not your skin now, only once more known will time begin.
So we look in the mirror and each tug an ear, not comparing notes this time. Would you look at the time, must everything rhyme? They must to slip past new year.
The Bard's Tongue is this long so all must sing along, great ends require small things. No great spell just a singular bell, rung at once in each, who sings.
It is precisely this long, in fact it has been all along. And that was no double you, remember the parable ewe. Christ, we must catch them all.
So the Bard stops, remembering himself and simply says "It begins." And the silken piece falls, then so do they all. The Gentlemen each, in perfect disbelief, as their own lover walks right through their door. The lover they each felt before seeing, knew before touching, dreamt before meeting, and loved before loving."
I turn back and she is gone. "Was it something I said?" But the words are met with silence in this house. The house I thought to be hers alone, is empty, save me now.
