You show right on cue
Having seen our second run
Not needing the first

You come way early
To show me home videos
And editor's cuts

I am well prepared
And overly excited
To retrace our steps

Forever started
Malleable from that point
The first time we touched

I will not forget
One moment lost in your eyes
But the rest may change

The show is starting
We giggle at messages
Both sent and received

And moments stolen
Sneaking in some just like these
And those yet to come

I am now ready
With the tapestry revealed
For eternity

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
