Season's Greetings

Born into spring
Endless possibilities
Brought forth with a thought

She saw her true love
And dove right into summer
Like anyone would

Summer turned to fall
The moment he walked away
But leaves' colors changed

They remained with her
Those long nights he was away
Winter lingered on

He seemed a stranger
Never cold and unaware
Of paths to her door

Then one night he stirred
Their winters had been the same
As had summer days

He had been scheming
Without knowing fall or spring
On how to connect

Spring passed in a blink
He was so cold without her
Now summer would last

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
