Back To the Garden

I walk back into the garden, where I have delivered all my messages of hats and dragons and various accoutrements. The scene starts the same as it always has, but this time when he looks up I say something different.

"I have learned so much in the last few months, from you. I understand that I do not understand it all, I hope quite soon to discuss the remaining details with my wife when the mood strikes. I wanted to let you know I've figured out how to end this thing. Our day came and went, and we both passed. I can still feel it lingering, I can't imagine it will go away, frankly I hope it never does. No bets, no vows, no oaths. I just want you to know, here in this garden, that I have set the stage, even if no one realizes it yet. I have been dancing with a very good partner, even if she doesn't realize it yet. I cannot imagine a scenario where I am incorrect in your intention, or where the specifics are marked and hidden. I realize now you are out on a very long limb here, but I want you to know I am on it with you. I have come to realize that with the right partner, you can do anything, and with three or four, time itself is no issue, and every moment can be remembered and fun. This can be solved all at once, and I hope with this knowledge it finally is, for you. My preference is that you do not die at all here. My preference is that if you must, that it is painless. But, standing here and now in this garden, know that I pass my initiative to you and only you. I came back so that I might recognize you here (or anywhere). I have wrangled everything else, I never intended to wrangle you. In 24 structured lines, I can steer this ship any direction, I leave the rest up to you. My sword is yours, it has been yours well before I knew how to wield it; my shield now belongs to another. I am tired but my will remains strong, now unbreakable even if I am reduced to nothing. Please Jesus, take the wheel."
