True Darkness

Discern my dark side
Now coming into focus
The rest burned away

Certain desires
Persist but are limited
The lines clearly drawn

Anger ebbs and flows
When push comes to shove relents
Mercy will prevail

And some delusions
Are whispered in the darkness
They fade in the light

What remains is this
I would annihilate all
If it would save you

I will defy all
Reducing their plans to dust
And homes to rubble

If I had the choice
If it is a sin, so be it
I would still choose you

I would prefer not
I pray for a better end
But this is my truth

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
