Laugh I Could Recognize Anywhere

What if the day comes
When I can create no more
And only expound

I'll write of the songs
Written by my better half
Simple take aways

How she sees my dreams
And at times unlocks the gate
So I sneak across

Then she takes our words
Conversations unrecalled
And plays them so sweet

God forbid this ends
One day her new tunes dry up
What then will she say?

Let her melodize
Every thought I pen
Mine is always hers

And if you wonder
Why I scribe tirelessly
With no audience

"I refuse to see
The day I do not hear her
Let these break our fall."
