Jesus Christ save me
I'm too broken to go on
The crowd is (closing/biting)

My friends have all fled
To a safe distance in wait
Waiting for your move

I have done my best
To align them to your will
Now the weight's too much

I cry out "save me!"
In a voice only you can hear
As the end draws near

I'd rather not see
What will pass or what's to be
If she's not with me

Only worthlessness

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
