On Possible Things

"The worst possible thing exists."

"It must, and we must improve it with every breath. Experience is another matter. It is not the case that the worst possible thing must be experienced."

"Experience is the tangibility of reality beyond the partition of existence. One's experience is shaping, whereas existence may simply be. Experience is what you feel, amidst what occurs."

After an amount of silence. 

"The best possible thing exists."

"There is a War going on."

"I had hardly realized, but feel it now."

"You must kill me."

"May we agree that the kid gets a chance, in whatever form that takes."

"We are agreed. It is a gracious way to end this War."

So, regardless, the kid finds a beautiful story unfolding before him.

"Do you have anything else to add?"

"No."

So the parley is concluded.

Disentropic

So, someone else's presence, from one's own perspective, is a combination of signals in the brain. The sight of them, the sound, the feel, everything, from one's own perspective regarding the other that they perceive, is ultimately these brainwaves, in a familiar pattern. This intertwines with the the idea that consciousness is these brainwaves, our bodies carefully constructed compilations of sensors and machines designed to generate these waves and in turn be driven by them. I can imagine, and even have seen firsthand one night, hallucinations so vivid that they are indistinguishable from real people. Granted, personally I did not touch these others, but they were visible and plain as day. They acted as if they were real, and spoke audibly; I had no basis to say that they were not real except in retrospect, in the context being broken.
