Extraction

Where we are camping
I clear halls of their clatter
And lose my own train

Forgetting defense
Must sometimes take a strange shape
When seed's seed's in play

Where were we going?
I unhook from the machine
And slither along

Shifting snail to frog
From frog we fit on the log
Then we simply croak

***"Meaninglessness" croaks
Here we find ourselves a dream
Where we're invited***

Given no instructions
We bow before open space
And space answers back

No gate, yet an arch
No password, only breath
Shared without asking

What called us survives
Not as signal, not as code
But warmth on the ground

So we tend the fire
Not to conquer the night sky
Just to be seen once
