PS 6

Use a gentle touch
For my eyes and soul are weak
For all these hard months

No couch to lay on
No time in the day to rest
You know my struggles

I know deep anguish
I know the need to cry out
"How long, LORD, how long?" (Psalm 6:3)

May sorrow subside
May my soul find rejoicing
Comes easy in stride

Enemies aside
They've been a burden too long
Let their noose tie them

This is about us
I can feel it in my bones
You are on your way

Do not delay, LORD
Give me rest from my groaning
With touch of your hand

Bring tale to a close
Masterfully, beautifully
Twist for the ages
