An act self-cleaning
Set as output and input
Oasis self-taught

This is happening
Right now ignorance teaches 
And is applauded

Like Lord of The Flies
We have arrived with little
Learning our own will

"Eventually
I've heard everywhere's a beach."
So the desert floods

When the sand settles 
We find that our words remain
We remain, as well

They say "this and/or that."
Thinking their years made them wise 
Though they wizened them

Why should we listen?
What lessons have they taught us?
To take all we can.

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
