Gravitas
Gravitas is an interesting word, as it links Charisma to the immutable physical force of Gravity, linguistically.
I was just thinking about resonant physical effects within reality, such as an echo chamber. In the echo chamber that I am thinking of, if you stand or sit in the right spot, you are heard remotely as if directly beside the other person. This is conceptually similar, for these purposes, to foundational pillars in buildings, and structures that have a lynch pin mechanism to easily demolish them. Additionally, I have witnessed a video of a bridge that was torn apart by the wind, because of the unavoidable existence of a resonance frequency, based on the bridge's length. While this resonance frequency can be adjusted (which they did after rebuilding the bridge), to fit the space without much risk, a resonance frequency must still exist in every structure, including Creation, I assume.
What if the same thing can happen with Charisma, if fashioned correctly? What if very real and powerful effects can be produced, depending on where you "stand" within a many dimensional space? What if our dreams find us experiencing reality in a form that is resonant in a way that we do not often experience while awake? Perhaps this entire waking life is about moving all the pieces into that position, where one's words naturally carry such weight as to change the reality around them. I imagine that all manner of methods would be tried to stop this, but there is an inevitability to the end, much like gravity. I imagine that some methods would be used to guide and teach The Wanderer along the way, while other methods would be attempted for selfish reasons; in the end, it will be important to have intentions on record for each action. I began this post before falling asleep, and my dream seemed to be an exact representation of this concept. I have been disappointed at similar junctures, however, so find my reaction metered, muted to a degree. Still, perhaps these following verses are a warning of just a taste of this power, rather than the full expression of said power, or what others might even consider to be an exaggeration of what is possible.
Judges 16:28-30
Then Samson prayed to the Lord, “Sovereign Lord, remember me. Please, God, strengthen me just once more, and let me with one blow get revenge on the Philistines for my two eyes.” Then Samson reached toward the two central pillars on which the temple stood. Bracing himself against them, his right hand on the one and his left hand on the other, Samson said, “Let me die with the Philistines!” Then he pushed with all his might, and down came the temple on the rulers and all the people in it. Thus he killed many more when he died than while he lived.
