Value of Choice

To strive for and achieve,

Something known from the outset

Not to be worth the risk

To hold it in your hand

Is proof that what is known

Is not always true

If this was not worth the risk

Then this would not have been accomplished

By aware entities

For we are still slaves:

Our experience can only reflect

The choices we choose, our preferences

Some, sum, suboptimal 

Still, product of an impossible result

Clearly chosen despite having no clear value

Carries intrinsic value
