Mind's Eye Echo
I just got a serious echo of what may have been my mind's eye trying to activate. It was like many deja vu flashes overlapping of playing Ring of Pain, which I was just texting my friend about, and describing specific details of runs. As soon as I considered what I would do next and thought of "continuing" my Xbox path, my brain filled in that game as what I have been doing, even though I haven't played it at all today. This thought was tangible, and unmistakable, like an implanted memory. I can still feel myself playing it kind of, like it's just above eyeline on pause, even though I'm watching Netflix. This is surreal.
I haven't heard people with mind's eyes talk about this phenomenon, except one good friend. Is it that such an admission sounds crazy, or potentially overwhelming? Is it that the brains of most individuals obscure these events as soon as they happen, but I've trained my mind to not overlook such things? Could it be that my mind's eye is blind because it does not operate on the same frequency as everyone else's, and that getting it to start working in an acceptable way for all means experiencing and remembering these strange "near miss" type scenarios?
This is now reminding me of what is most commonly called "manifesting" these days. I've always considered such pursuits disinteresting, for several reasons, but what if this experience of a kind of momentous deja vu is almost like a surf board that I can use to wrest control of reality, so that manifestation actually has teeth on the level which I would need it to?
Another thing this reminded me of, which I may continue later, is something like an internal drum beat. This beat contains binary pairs- 0/1, off/on, in/out, stop/go, play/pause, alive/dead, awake/asleep, aware/unaware, something/nothing, yes/no. These pairs are syncopated, so that a single soul might contain all of them on different levels, providing a kind of relay for these bipolar junctures. This feels important, as a way of managing the volume of the world, and could lead to a material advantage in a turn based reality.
