Fatal Flowering Flourish

Certain thoughts plague me
Whenever they are planted
Roots felt through the earth

Kudzu in one turn
In a game no soul should play
Save maybe fungus

The Daughter Tree grows
Even when it looks cut down
You just changed stages

To one overgrown
Saturated zero sum
Believe what you want

'Til gift is stolen
And your beliefs are your own
For better or worse

When you wait for me
To respond to your actions
Will it be in peace?

Will anxiety
Make you wish for anything
Besides existence?

Leave the Tree alone.
Uproot these plaguing thoughtseeds.
You reap what you sow.
