Of Good and Evil

"Do as you will, this is the hole under the law." 

This feels like it would be an invalid statement In The Beginning, or in any other solipsistic or Echad state. Perhaps the only purpose it could possibly serve at that juncture is to illuminate the invalidity of The Devil's Advocate position, in relation to itself. After all, who would you be speaking to? If one has no "will," then the command is nonsense, likely beyond the threshold of notice, much less the threshold of making it a statement. If the self knows nothing but doing what the self wills, would one ever even consider their natural state of willful action deeply enough to glimpse the inverse?

Would God have The Knowledge of Good and Evil In The Beginning? If one believes yes, then how? If one takes the position of God is good, would God then define "not-self" as evil? How then would God either reshape or create within the field of evil to create "Very Good" (Creation)? Would this not suggest that Creation is still surrounded by a field of evil, as endless as God is good?

I was considering my complex structure, imagined at a minimum, of myself and my daughters in an eternally interactive field. Even if I took this as the most fundamental acceptable structure possible moving forward, comprehending that each daughter possesses good and evil- and different than my own or each other's- means that operating within this field would necessarily be exponentially more complex than operating in a field by myself. Interestingly, I am presumably in a field with many many perspectives, each with their own perspective of good and evil- each fleshed out to a non-zero, non-negative degree- that differs from my own definition, or that of each other. Even if good and evil are intrinsically defined, and ultimately must be agreed upon as such, the one defining's perspective cannot be dismissed from the resulting arrangement of reality. Perhaps that is a perk of the structure: the distilling of the complexity of The Equation into something perhaps manageable, that illuminates the maddening complexity of the whole. I cannot even imagine trying to approach such a structuring without Love at its core, but I imagine that others have tried, and pale reflections can be seen in the various structures of leadership around the world, today and throughout human history.

So what if it all broke down to a fundamental level today? Like the classic egg drop test in Physics class, would one's structure be crushed, or have the opportunity to grow? If it grows, would one not run into the same fundamental juncture, where what one does and does not do takes shape and is defined, possibly as good and evil again?

I think if I ever found myself in this position, forced to be a "murderer from the beginning," I think that I would murder my own concept of freedom from The Equation. It would be a lie, of course, as this concept is already dead within me, but wouldn't murdering a lie make me better, in the adversarial role that I would have been forced into? Such is The Bard's cage, after all: "Consciousness must either persist forever or at some point cease." When one recognizes this cage of their own persistence there is no escape, there is only material improvement, step by step.
