Testimony- Carrying Two Weights

I was once told, by someone who may be a prophet, that one can flip to any page of The Bible- when they get the urge- and find that it applies to their situation. In recent years, interested in exploring this claim, I have found myself trying it, and it has felt more accurate than a simple "expectations fulfilled" adjusted baseline would explain. Today, however, I found it to be beyond the threshold of disbelief, from my own perspective.

I was sitting at the park where a miracle first really sunk in for me, talking with a new friend. I had brought my Bible, and I brought up what the possible prophet had once said, about flipping to a page. He asked for my Bible and flipped to a page, skimming and soon saying that it wasn't a very good one. I asked him to read it anyway, and he read:

Proverbs 20:10
Differing weights and differing measures—
    the Lord detests them both.

This passage could not be more on point. There was a whole phase- which I'm pretty sure I've written about here- where I felt the call to paint myself as a target, by breaking The Law, when I did not feel like it at all. My solution was to carry two Rubik's Cubes in the same bright yellow sack, as two differing weights, also/primarily related to this verse:

Deuteronomy 25:13
Do not have two differing weights in your bag—one heavy, one light.

I did this several times. It was my go to "Breaking The Law" response. Why I felt the call to this state so sharply is beyond me, but the direct connection to those times and today is undeniable to me.
