Divergence

One in a thousand
What use is knowing the odds
If each is complete? 

Dance through departments
Diverging past divisions
Dare to dream different

Selfish hypnosis
At system collapse juncture
Are there other kinds? 

Trust experience
Is not a string of hellscapes 
But will be much more

For you/I will persist
And your/my will will seek value 
This aim will persist 

At saturation
Nothing balances with all
Not nothing, not all

What moves will remain? 
What system could render choice? 
Render choice useless? 

Hope keeps persisting
When root is squared you will be
One in a million

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
