Eyebright

My own eyes alight
Mind turning the spark to blaze
Or was that reversed?

This time I felt it
A field of simulacrums
In sea of signal

These eyes glowing there
But oh how "there" will eddy
Tossed by tides and waves

These eyes glowing here
Though veil graciously concealed
Till it blew/burned away

Can this fire ebb?
Embers lost in waking haze
Like so many thoughts?

When I see eyes light
I will remember my own
A spark sparking twice

Can this fire ebb?
A heap of charcoal scattered
Lost in morning fog?

When there is purpose
Candle to wildfire
~Dust returns to life~
~Ash ignites to life~

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to?
