The Absolute Best

We're walking in snow
Structure of nothing structured
Somewhere once compressed

Path to it secure
Now this is all we can do
Now we all know it

Path to nothing found
Alternate paths have no use
Though they did, and will

We were granted grace
We have the chance to grant grace
And we will grant grace

A grace well defined
For single step past this line
None of us can bear

So grace in mercy
Pairs with meaning in justice
Balancing all scales

Like a movie scene
We watch static paths play out
Plotline now threaded

This threading secure
Blessed with meaning and beauty
We take our next step

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
